Five exhibitors showing in the Baby & Child section at last week's New York International Gift Fair received awards for Best New Products as voted by a panel of editors.
Box Play, which makes stickers that turn household boxes into toys, was named Blogger’s Best at NYIGF.
Winners and two finalists were named in four categories: toy, décor, gear and apparel. A winner was also recognized in a fifth category, Blogger's Best. About 116 entries were judged on innovation, design and style.
Blogger's Best: Box Play for Kids' eco-friendly stickers, which can be placed on household boxes such as milk cartons to turn them into toys.
Toy: PlanToys for its Play House, a three-story dollhouse made out of rubberwood with a carry handle and a rooftop that becomes a garden. The runners-up were Fat Brain Toy Co. for its Tobbles Neo stacking toy and Juratoys US Corp. for Magnetibook Crazy Face.
Décor: Haba USA for the Teepee play tent, a portable play space for kids. The finalists were Magicforest for the Fly with Me Hot Air Balloon music box and Milk Moon Kids for its growth charts.
