Holland House launches Crush Youth Furniture
Jane Kitchen -- Kids Today, April 30, 2013
Holland House has launched a new subsidiary, Crush Youth Furniture, with a 9,000-square-foot showroom adjacent to its Centerpoint on Centennial showroom in High Point. The new division is led by Lynn Wiggs.
The Crush showroom features 26 colors on the walls, and was decorated by Fred Holland and Gregory Louya. The expansive showroom featured 20 youth groups on display, including four new groups this Market.
New introductions this market included Camo for both girls and boys; Bling Bling, featuring hardware with sparkle; Lily, a black and white contrast group with interchangeable fretwork and panels; and Bubbles, a vibrant, hip group with fun words on drawer fronts that can be changed to white panels.
Wiggs said reaction at Market was "phenomenal."
"Our youth business is growing this Market by leaps and bounds, just by displaying it right," said Wiggs.
The official Crush grand opening will be at this fall's High Point Market, where Wiggs promised "something huge."
