USA Baby names new president

Lombard, Ill.-based USA Baby has hired Kimberly Thomas as its president. Thomas joined the company on November 6 and her role will include strategic planning and an operational assessment to ensure USA Baby is poised for future growth. Ron Eriksen will continue his role as CEO of the company.
Thomas has an extensive background in operations management. Most recently Thomas was the COO for Christian International Ministries where she completed an organizational restructuring to stimulate global interest in the organization. Prior to that she worked for Stanford Trading Company directing pharmaceutical sales in Saudi Arabia and The Harberg Masinter Company, a retail real estate company, as its director of operations. Thomas worked in the real estate department for San Francisco-based The Sharper Image during its aggressive expansion campaign.
