Summer Infant, Kenneth Brown launch baby bedding at BRU

WOONSOCKET, R.I. – Summer Infant has partnered with celebrity designer, Kenneth Brown, for two baby bedding collections at Babies R Us. Unique to these collections is the accessibility Brown has provided in the Designer Workbook included in every bedding set purchase, as well as step-by-step video instructions.
One of Los Angeles’ most sought-after interior designers, Brown has long been acclaimed for his ability to blend warm Southern hospitality with clean Southern California lines. His design firm is ever expanding and works with high-profile clients such as Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Mia Hamm. His firm is also working on larger scale hospitality projects. His work has been featured in numerous design publications, as well as on his two hit TV shows, HGTV and Fine Living Network’s reDesign and TLC’s Over Designed.

This year he will be expanding his infant bedding and accessories line. Inspired by the birth of his first daughter, the line combines his trademark sophistication, with a softer aesthetic that captures the elements of a custom-designed nursery. Having a strong belief that all budgets deserve good design and everyone deserves to live a beautiful life, Kenneth has introduced two new collections at Babies R Us – Jumping for Joy and Sweet Stitches.
Jumping for Joy targets a universal “unisex” appeal for moms and dads awaiting baby’s arrival before finding out if it is a boy or a girl. It also serves as a great alternative for multiple babies, such as boy and girl twins, who will share the same room.
Sweet Stitches is very girl savvy with pops of color and is intricately adorned with distinctive aesthetics such as hummingbirds, playful swoops, and other charming details; that also serve as great accents for completing Brown’s designer look throughout the room.
Rounding out the design experience for consumers is the Designer Workbook and online tools available at www.summerinfant.com/kennethbrown. Available on the Web site are step-by-step video instructions for completing several different looks per each collection. Consumers can also download his Designer Workbook for specific instructions on how to get the final look he has achieved through a simplified process any mom or dad can do at home.
