CAMBRIDGE, Ontario – Tomorrow morning, mattress producer Natura World will honor the military with a special ceremony that will begin with fourth- and fifth-graders from a local school singing "Oh Canada." A trumpet player from the Salvation Army will play the last post and a number of soldiers from Trenton will be in attendance.
Natura’s “Pillows for Troops” campaign lets Canadians send a pillow to a soldier in Afghanistan from now through 2011 – Natura is now an official supplier to the Canadian Military. The campaign honors the 88th soldier to be killed while serving in Afghanistan and is the only soldier to have been interred on Remembrance Day.
On his first tour of duty, Cpl. James Hayward Arnal strapped a Natura pillow to his leg. On his next two tours, he brought Natura pillows to share. His story has inspired a group of individuals and companies, including Natura, to band together to bring comfort to soldiers serving overseas.
Natura’s Remembrance Day ceremony is preemptive to the official launch on Nov. 20 at 1:18 p.m. at JS Furniture in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sam Katz, the mayor of Winnipeg, and the Honorable Greg Selinger, the premier of Manitoba, will be in attendance.

During Natura’s Remembrance Day ceremony, all staff at the Natura head office in Cambridge will be writing a postcard to soldiers.
