JCPenney names buyers in home products
New team will cover retail, catalog, Internet channels

PLANO, Texas — JCPenney has realigned its furniture and bedding buying teams as it has combined buying responsibilities for its retail and direct (Internet and catalog) businesses.
Mike Kays has been named senior buyer for bedding, youth furniture, occasional furniture, home office, metal beds, bed frames and home entertainment.
Diana Gray has been named senior buyer for leather and fabric upholstery, motion furniture and recliners.
Kim Boldway has been named senior buyer for bedroom, formal dining and casual dining.
Jessica Purvis has been named buyer of frames, wall art, mirrors, lamps, clocks and decorative accessories.
All four shifted from other duties at JCPenney. The buying team reports to Steve Dinkins, vice president and divisional merchandise manager, furniture and bedding.
