JPMA names new board of directors
Brenda Berg of Scandinavian Child will serve as chairman

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association has named its newly elected Board of Directors for 2010-2011.
Newly elected chairman, Brenda Berg of Scandinavian Child, succeeds now Immediate Past Chairman, Greg Mansker of Chicco USA. Tom Sparno of Evenflo Co., Inc was elected vice chairman and Jason Macari of Summer Infant Products was elected treasurer.
Joining the board are incoming directors Scott Doerstling of Sunshine Kids and Dave Taylor of Dorel Juvenile Group. JPMA also welcomes back Kelly Neal Mariotti of Green Frog Art as a director. Mariotti served as chair of JPMA from 2007-2008.
Directors continuing to serve include: Luanne Lager of Regal Lager; Rick Rosati of Bureau Veritas; Keith Schneider of PEM America: Ken Waldman of Delta Children’s Products; Kerry Williams of Go-Go Babyz; and Alan Wolkin of Colgate Juvenile Products.
"For nearly 50 years JPMA has been the voice of the juvenile products industry, its primary advocate, and its most indispensable resource,” Berg said. “JPMA and its members continue to serve as leaders in product safety and I am excited to be part of this industry as we continue to rise to this challenge in the coming year.”
JPMA would like to thank outgoing directors, Scott Krueger of Westwood Design, Mike Halak and Kim Lefko of Graco Children’s Products, and Immediate Past Chairman, Tony DeSimone of Fisher Price for their dedication to JPMA and the industry it serves.
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. JPMA exists to advance the interests, growth and well-being of North American prenatal to preschool product manufacturers, importers, and distributors marketing under their own brands to consumers. It does so through advocacy, public relations, information sharing, product performance certification, and business development assistance conducted with appreciation for the needs of parents, children, and retailers.
