NEW YORK — CopCorp Licensing has been named the North American licensing agent for the lifestyle brand I Love Yummy Things.
The property features a cast of quirky female characters drawn in an arcade game-inspired style. The "pixel-chicks" share characteristics with many real-life tween girls, such as liking kisses, make-up, chocolate and shopping. London-based The Monster Factory created I Love Yummy Things last year, and it is represented globally by Caroline Mickler Ltd.
CopCorp has signed two manufacturers to North American licensing deals. Accessory Network will produce an array of product, including fleece blankets, plush pillows, magnetic picture frames, headwear, hand-held mirrors, eyeglass cases, umbrellas and key chains. MZ Berger has signed on to make analog and digital watches. The products will hit retail shelves next spring.
"I Love Yummy Things is a wonderful property with a fun, stylish look and a cute, sassy attitude that has sold well in the U.K. marketplace," said Carole Postal, president of CopCorp Licensing. "In addition to its original target market of 7- to 12-year-old girls, I Love Yummy Things will also have great appeal for the tween/junior audience in America."
We would love your feedback!
