Kids Preferred making Charlie and Lola plush
Line to debut this summer

NEW YORK –Kids Preferred plans to launch a line of plush toys based on the popular preschool series “Charlie and Lola.”
The series, based on books by British writer Lauren Child, shares the daily adventures of 7-year-old Charlie, his 4-year-old sister Lola and their friends and neighbors. Presented by BBC Worldwide

Limited and produced by Tiger Aspect Productions, the series features collage-style animation.
The line, available at retail this summer, includes:
• Giggling Charlie and Giggling Lola dolls that laugh when their tummies are pressed, $10 each.
• A play set featuring talking and poseable Charlie and Lola dolls packaged in a reusable play scene, $25.
• A plush talking Lola that speaks six phrases and comes with a removable dress and shoes, $30.
• A pajama set for Lola that includes red and white pajamas, hanger, toothbrush and toothpaste, $14.
• Sizzles the Dog plush, $10.
• A doll case that holds any of the Lola dolls and accessories and includes a hanger, drawer and bedroom play scene, $28.
Kids Preferred is also distributing Penguin’s series of “Charlie and Lola” paperback and sticker and activity books with retail prices between $3.99 and $7.99 each.
