By Lisa Casinger -- Kids Today, 1/1/2008 12:00:00 AM
The eighth annual Kids Today Conference, Playing for Keeps, will be held March 4-6 in Savannah, Ga.
If you're a retailer, manufacturer or supplier in the juvenile/youth industry, make plans to attend to find out how to better reach your customers, harness the power of the media, build a successful brand and tap into the consumer psyche. Attendees will also learn what the next generation of retailers has up their sleeve and find out how other companies have grown their businesses.
Designer Edward Walker will kick off the conference and share his insight on design and his experiences on TLC's “Trading Spaces.” Keynote speaker Rebecca Maddox, founding principle and president/CEO of Maddox Smye, will share her expertise on how to best communicate with and serve your customers. Speaker/author Laurel Tielis will help attendees discover the power of using media.
Registration is open online now at www.kidstodayonline.com or by calling (336) 605-1066.
All Baby and Child, the parent company of the ABC Expo, is sponsoring attendance at the conference, which is being held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. ABC will pay the registration fee for all independent juvenile retailers planning to attend until the conference is sold out.
“We believe that continuing education is as important to our retailers as it is to any other professionals,” said Ken Goore, chairman of ABC. “The Kids Today Conference provides critical information on the current retail environment, so we are very happy to offer these sponsorships.”
For further information on ABC retailer sponsorships, go to www.theabcshow.com, e-mail info@theabcshow.com or call (210) 691-4848.
Registration is $750 per person with a $395 rate for retailers. Hotel and travel are not included.
We would love your feedback!
