and calendars, have launched a line of Home Stickers for children.

“We developed four designs for Ikea in late summer 2008,” said Steven Hawla, general manager of operations in the U.S. of the Paris-based company.

The juvenile stickers were so successful, the company decided to do its own line. There are currently 16 designs, but Nouvelles Images plans to double that number and come out with a separate juvenile catalog.

“Of our 40 top sellers, 12 of them are kids’ stickers,” said Hawla.

The stickers are easily applied to walls and furniture. While many wall stickers are printed on vinyl, Home Stickers are manufactured on paper, ensuring excellent print quality. They can be applied to any clean, smooth, dry surface, which they do not damage during application or removal. Furthermore, the adhesive is guaranteed non-toxic.

Retailing at $30, a set of Home Stickers includes two large identical sheets of images.
