VACAVILLE, Calif. – Annie Salyer, president of children’s hair accessory company, No Slippy Hair Clippy, has been moved by the disaster in Haiti, and is convinced that small business owners have a vital role to play in its outcome.
“Small business can make a big difference,” she said. “If we pull together and each contribute what we can, I think we’ll create something really powerful.”
In that vein, Salyer started a fund raiser, Hair Clips for Haiti, with a portion of its online sales supporting UNICEF and Save the Children.
