Kids Today debuts Web site redesign
Features more content, archives, better navigation
-- Kids Today, 6/7/2007 5:48:00 AM
Our redesign of KidsTodayonline.com, which debuted June 4, offers readers a better user experience with a cleaner look and feel and more interactive, updated content.
The design is cleaner so content is easier to read and find, while the new homepage holds more news and information, making it easy to navigate the site at a glance. Every article page also has links to related stories to easily find relevant topics of interest.
There also is web-exclusive content with the blogs and industry news from around the Web. Readers can now join the conversation with TalkBack and let their voices be heard. Our new search technology lets readers find information faster and better, plus search and read Kids Today archives online.
Our content channels cover all of the major segments in our industry including furniture, retail, decorative accents, textiles, toys, gifts/apparel, gear and vendors and the site offers the most extensive listing of industry shows and conferences.
Kidstodayonline.com features two blogs, one from editor Lisa Casinger and another from marketing guru Rick Segel. This month blogs from retailers Aaron Pederson from Kids Stuff Superstore, Lincoln, Neb. and Kelly Nelson from New Baby Products, Atlanta also will debut.
Aaron’s blog, Open for Business, will talk about independent retailing in a big box world and Kelly’s blog, Customer Care and Beyond, will explore the relationships between specialty stores and consumers, between competing retailers, between retailers and manufacturers, as well as the internal relationships in a small business setting.
Thanks Jerad. We like the new look and navigation too!
