Toy Fair panel addresses social media
Event set for Monday, Feb. 15 during show
-- Kids Today, 1/29/2010 8:33:00 AM
NEW YORK – Smart companies know that if they want to market to moms today, a social media presence is essential. Blogs, Twitter and Facebook are ideal communication channels for toy manufacturers and retailers looking to target moms for holiday shopping.
At Toy Fair 2010, join leaders in social media and the companies that market to them for a timely panel presentation. Toy companies will discuss what they’ve done in social media and what they’ve learned from their experiences. Social media moms will discuss the issues they have with marketers and offer advice on how both groups can work together most effectively. Companies that want to reach moms in social media can learn how to do it right, directly from the experts, at a panel set for 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15 in booth 4822 on level 1 of the Javits Center. The event is free to Toy Fair attendees, and is hosted by The Creative Factor.
