NEW YORK – Opening day at the NYC Baby and Kids Fair, which runs Friday, Jan. 30 through today, was upbeat with buyers from across the United States and around the world, walking the corridors and sourcing products from a diverse and interesting range of kids and baby accessories, toys, furnishings and gear. The exhibitor mix and intimate feel of the space really made for a successful first day.
The kick-off keynote address by Jenny Heinzen York, editorial director of Kids Today, gave attendees valuable insight into juvenile market trends. Buyers commenting on the shopping experience confirmed the strategy behind this first-ever dedicated baby/kids focused exhibition being held in the 11th floor concurrently with the 7 W New York Gift and Home Textiles Market Week, Jan. 29 – Feb. 4.
Highlights from NYC Baby & Kids Fair exhibitors on 11 include:

Chi Chi Baby exhibited trendy, embellished baby bottles that are unlike anything else on the market, while Picture Frames by Posh Pics displayed hand-made frames with delicate crackled paint finishes, bows and other unusual embellishments.
The Bomb Mom showed clever and stylish shirts for moms that do everything with flair.
