K.I.D.S. launches revamped Web site
New site designed to be more concise

Kids in Distressed Situations has debuted an expanded Web site designed to be user-friendly for those wanting more information and seeking to donate to the charity.
The new www.kidsdonations.org has an opening video that explains the distribution of clothes, books, toys, furniture and other products to needy children. The home page is split into four sections where visitors can find out more about the organization itself, how it helps children, ways to get involved and K.I.D.S. supporters and partners. Visitors can also click on buttons to either donate cash or product.
“Our new Web site reflects the K.I.D.S. mission to improve the lives of children in distress while providing clear and direct functionality for our users,” said Rick Schaub, K.I.D.S. board chairman. “The site is powerful and informative and enables users to easily browse through the concise sections and pages.”
In 2007, K.I.D.S. distributed more than $61 million worth of products to children and their families through a variety of local agency partners.
