HIGH POINT – Following a four-year absence, Berg Furniture has opened a showroom for the market here.
“I’m hiring more reps and targeting more full-line furniture stores that I believe can use made-in-America product and quality product,” said Almog Lieber, vice president of marketing.
“I’m looking for the retailers that believe the better product is the answer. We also capitalize on the fact that we’re offering a great service — we can ship in most cases less than a week,” he said. “Our production is constantly on the go. We’re in the last stages of developing a better control of inventory, and we’re upgrading our systems.”
Lieber said many of the new reps deal with full-line retailers who are interested in Berg.
“It seems that many of their customers are still going to High Point, so if we show in High Point, we’re starting with the right foot,” he said.
For this market, Berg is in a temporary showroom in Showplace, space 2101. The manufacturer will show all of its main items in the 1,000 square feet space.
“We have a great potential to grow and my mission is to almost double my sales force,” Lieber said.
We would love your feedback!
