Executive Director – Retail Start-up Organization
Are you a strong leader with a passion for retail and a “shop local” Mentality? 
There are 300-400 independently-owned baby stores left in the United States
faced with fierce competition from online discounters and expanding big-box retailers. 
The producers of The ABC Show appointed a Specialty Retail Board to
create an organization to unite independent specialty stores and empower them
to thrive in this new retail environment.  This organization seeks a hard-working
visionary that can develop, articulate and execute ideas to be the Executive Director. 
Must be a proven coalition builder and have at least 5 years experience
working in retail or with retailers.  Will recruit members, manage staff, work with
Specialty Retail Board and provide monthly reports.  Travel required.  Compensation
commensurate with experience.  Interested candidates should send a cover letter
