NEW YORK – Child’s Play Communications, a specialist in reaching moms, recently hosted its second annual Bloggers Brunch, an opportunity for companies to connect directly with leading mom bloggers in an intimate atmosphere, conducive to conversation and personal connections.

There are 21 million moms engaged in social media on at least a weekly basis, and about 11.5 million of them are writing, reading and/or commenting on blogs.

The event kicked off with a panel of leading mom bloggers, who discussed best practices for reaching moms through social media, shared their insights on issues and trends in the momosphere and answered questions from the audience.

Featured speakers included:

  • Liz Gumbinner, Cool Mom Picks

  • Kimberly Coleman, Mom in the City

  • Melissa Chapman, Kids in the City

  • Jo-Lynne Shane, Musings of a Housewife, and

  • Debbie Bookstaber, Mamanista.

The panel was moderated by Stephanie Azzarone, Mom Market Trends and president, Child’s Play Communications.

The morning presentation was followed by a noon brunch at which sponsors exhibited their products to mom bloggers, for consideration in time for holiday reviews. The exhibit area was intentionally compact and low-key, providing the ideal opportunity to create a relationship with blogger guests.

Sponsors included Cuisinart, FujiFilm, Goddard Schools, Good Housekeeping, Joy Berry Enterprises, Nickelodeon, the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Toy Industry Association.
