Jessica McClintock, the fashion designer who has expanded into the home furnishings world, will grow her presence in the juvenile industry with the launch of Jessica Baby at the upcoming International JPMA show in April.
Jessica Baby, a collection of 14 complete bedding ensembles, "has been designed to provide the retailer and the consumer with fresh design options utilizing unique fabrications and my attention to detail," McClintock said.
Also this year McClintock is launching a three-tiered program of 12 collections in bed, window and bath that will debut in August from Pacific Coast Home Furnishings, the licensee for both Jessica Baby and the adult collections.
McClintock's home in San Francisco typically is the inspiration for her home collections.
PCHF owners Perry Banafshe and Sam Samani said that "with her love of romantic lifestyles, the collections will be a blend of timeless designs and embellishments, which are the signature of all of her fashions."
Kerry Glasser, McClintock's licensing agent and head of New York-based Concept Marketing Group, said, "The professionals at PCHF have faithfully executed Jessica's vision and have made the development of this collection a pleasure. It's truly a collaborative effort."A six-piece set will retail for between $150 and $300.
McClintock's other home furnishings licensees are Lea Inds. for youth furniture, American Drew for case goods, C.R. Laine for upholstered furniture, Loloi for rugs and Minka Group for lighting and decorative accessories.
A six-piece set will retail for between $150 and $300.
