Ginsey Inds. has signed a licensing deal to create licensed bath accessories for Procter & Gamble's Pampers brand. The collection was previewed at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Assn. show in May. The collection is designed to complement Pampers' Kandoo personal care products line, which is targeted to children ages 2 to 7. The body care line, which launched in the United States in 2005, features products such as flushable wipes, shampoo, hand soap and body wash. Ginsey's product line-up includes a potty training seat, step stool, laundry hamper, bath mat, pop-up hamper, trash bin, bath toy organizer, flushable wipe holder and other accessories. Retail prices range between $1.99 and $29.99. "Kandoo is all about empowering kids to be able to have fun learning to do tasks themselves," said Lucas Watson, associate marking director of the brand. "Our specially designed wipes, hand soap, shampoo and body wash help kids master basic bathrooms skills. Through this licensing agreement with Ginsey, we can provide hard goods for the bathroom that further enhance the Kandoo experience." The products are scheduled to ship in January and will be sold at mass market, grocery, drug and specialty baby stores. |
