ABC Kids Expo events, user-friendly features

During the ABC Expo this month, show management has several events planned for market goers. There also are several new features to make the show more user friendly and fun.
On Friday, Sept.7, a Modern Child reception will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Upper South Level Exhibit Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The BIG Industry Reception is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Las Vegas Hilton Center. Entertainment includes strolling musicians, magicians and mimes as well as ice carving demos and plenty of food and drink.
A few features have moved locations. The Hot Slots machine is now at the top of the escalator in the upper south level concourse. All attendees receive an ABC poker chip for a free pull on the slot machine. The New Product Showcase has moved to an expanded spot in the upper level exhibit hall, south alcove.
New this year, for retailers only, is a Money Vault, located in the lower level exhibit hall. One hour each afternoon, retailers will be able to grab all the bucks they can in 10 seconds.
Another new addition is the ABC trolley. Attendees can hop a ride on the trolley, which makes various stops in the lower level exhibit hall and is sponsored by Fit Pregnancy Magazine.
There are new floor interactive directional kiosks to locate exhibitors and map out your plan. Several kiosks will be located on both levels of the exhibit hall.
Also new this year, both Baby TV and Trade Show Today will be providing television coverage of the show and exhibitor products to consumers throughout the world.
