LIVE FROM ABC – Children’s furniture and decor producer, Green Frog Art’s new line, greenEARTH, includes eco-friendly cradles, an organic cradle mattress and two organic cradle bedding sets.
“While Green Frog Art has always prided itself on providing high quality safe products, we continued to see a growing need for those who are searching specifically for organic and made in the USA products,” said Kelly Neal Mariotti, president and chief designer of Green Frog Art. “After extensive of research and development we are thrilled at what we have accomplished. I am excited for everyone to see the new line and proud to add greenEARTH to our collection of products.”
Green Frog Art’s greenEARTH cradles are made from domestic hardwoods. The woods are harvested from naturally sustained forests and production is in a facility that recycles its own waste into energy and holds a number of third-party certifications that monitor their green manufacturing claims. The cradles contain no formaldehyde or VOCs and are finished with non-toxic, water based products. The shipping carton is made from recycled materials. Each cradle will be shipped with the highest quality Naturepedic organic cradle mattress.
Green Frog Art’s new greenEARTH cradle bedding is made from 100% certified organic cotton fabric grown, harvested, finished and dyed without harmful chemicals or pesticides. The rich colors and beautiful prints are achieved with natural and low-impact pigments. The fabrics used have created cradle sets that are natural as well as gorgeous, upholding to Green Frog Art’s usual style standards. Production is in conformance to the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). Each cradle bedding set contains two sheets, a cradle bumper and swaddling blanket and is packaged in a reusable and recyclable tote bag.
“We’ve overlooked no detail,” said Mariotti. “Even the hangtags on the items are made from seedpaper; for something that is usually used as a throwaway we provide no waste and a beautiful pot of flowers.”
