COO Hani Basile named interim chief

MONTREAL — Dorel Inds. said that Camillo Lisio will be leaving his job as president of the Dorel Juvenile Group on Friday. He will be succeeded on an interim basis by Hani Basile, chief operating officer of the Juvenile Group.
Lisio has been involved with Dorel's juvenile businesses since he joined the company in 2003. He was CEO of Dorel Distribution Canada, was instrumental in establishing Dorel Australia and Dorel Brazil, and has been COO of Dorel Juvenile Group worldwide since May 2008.
Dorel also is among the largest North American producers of ready-to-assemble furniture.
The company markets its juvenile products under the Cosco Juvenile, Safety 1st, Maxi-Cosi and Quinny brands as well as its European brands, Babideal, Bebe Confort, Baby Relax and MonBebe. It has licensing agreements with Eddie Bauer and Disney.
