HIGH POINT— Legacy Classic Furniture is adding convertible cribs to six of its best-selling youth collections, including Summer and Autumn Breeze, American Spirit, Innovations, Enchantment and Cambridge Court at the April High Point Market.

“We’ve been working on our cribs for awhile,” said Karen Knoch, vice president of merchandising for Legacy. “We’ve put a lot of thought and research into this category and we see it as a way for furniture retailers to get younger customers to start shopping their stores.”

Knoch said at pre-market that the cribs were well received and even retailers who might not have historically carried cribs were giving the category a strong consideration.

The retail price points are about $599 for the cribs. Legacy also has added under-crib storage, toddler bed conversion kits, changing table toppers and smaller, 50-inch dressers to its SKUs to compliment the new cribs.
