Pediped footwear launches updated Web site

HENDERSON, Nev. – Footwear producer, Pediped has unveiled a fresh new look on its Web site, with a cleaner look, improved navigation and most importantly, the introduction of educational video content.
The company refreshed its Web site to create a better Web experience for its customers. New to the site is the introduction of video content designed to engage and promote education. Pediped produced these videos to inform parents about a child’s foot development and teach them how to choose the proper footwear.
Pediped chose to incorporate the video content as a means to help connect and educate site visitors to the many features and benefits of the children’s footwear line. Look for a video illustrating how to use Pediped’s Flex Fit system that is designed to lengthen the life of their Flex line, a video explaining how footwear impacts the development of a child’s feet, and a video about fit and the importance of proper footwear. Additionally, the company has enlisted two podiatrists and advocates for proper footwear, to tape a segment answering frequently asked questions about children’s feet and how to choose proper footwear.
The company hopes that by offering the information in a more entertaining and visual manner visitors will become engaged as well as better informed when shoe shopping for their children.
“It’s our goal to educate consumers about the benefits of proper footwear and share how we design our shoes to meet all the criteria necessary to ensure our footwear is healthy for children’s feet. I think moms will be surprised to learn some of the interesting facts we’ll be presenting,” said Angela Edgeworth, president and co-founder.
“I hope the new format of our Web site and videos will provide them even more information and confidence in what we’re doing here at Pediped footwear. Pediped’s continued goal is to provide healthy footwear for children's developing feet,” she continued. “Pediped moms are among the most sophisticated type of buyer, so our goal is to equip them with as much information as possible.”
Pediped footwear was launched in 2004 by Angela and Brian Edgeworth The brand is sold in over 2,500 stores in the United States and 40 countries worldwide with an offering of more than 120 designs for boys and girls between their two lines, Originals and Flex. Originals are soft-soled shoes for newborns to age 2+ and Flex are rubber-soled shoes for children 1-6 years.
