SpongeBob introduces Lea's Nickelodeon Rooms at Nebraska Furniture Mart

OMAHA, Neb. - SpongeBob SquarePants visited the Nebraska Furniture Mart on Friday to help introduce a new furniture collection, Nickelodeon Rooms from Lea Furniture. Understanding that kids' rooms serve many needs - study, a gathering spot for friends and sleep - this collection was developed with input from parents and kids and in cooperation with Nickelodeon Consumer Products. The collection features storage and functionality that grows with the child through college and beyond. Characters from shows including Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go! and SpongeBob SquarePants, and graphics based on the network's signature SLIME! infuse the collection with the essence of the Nickelodeon brand and characters.
SpongeBob SquarePants was on hand for a ribbon cutting, a meet and greet, and to have photos taken.
Nebraska Furniture Mart also hosted an invitation-only charity event benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters in Omaha while SpongeBob SquarePants was on site. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships with proven results.
Sponsored by Lea Furniture, the Nickelodeon character appearance at the Nebraska Furniture Mart is one of the first in a series of nationwide rollout events to promote the new furniture line.
