The power of partnerships

Working with Mom Central Consulting

Kids Today Staff -- Kids Today, 8/30/2010 4:04:50 AM

jennyJennyThis edition of Kids Today marks the debut of our first research conducted alongside our new partner - Mom Central Consulting.
Newton, Mass.-based Mom Central Consulting is a social media agency specializing in marketing to moms that maintains a core research panel of more than 12,000 American mothers.
That's 12,000 of your customers or potential customers. We are so excited to have made this connection, and hope that the data that we have collected will be of great use to you.
Kids Today and Moms Central fielded an online survey to Mom Central's panel of moms in March. The exclusive 2010 Children's Furniture and Gear Survey received responses from 1,250 U.S. moms. Results will be presented within Kids Today in a three-part series beginning with this issue.
Our first report focuses on gear, including car seats, strollers and bouncers. The second report, publishing in September, focuses on infant furniture, including cribs, infant dressers and chests, and glider rockers. And, the October report focuses on youth furniture, including the product categories of youth twin beds and mattresses, youth chests and dressers, and bunk beds.

Each report will tackle the questions of which products moms plan to buy this year, where they plan to buy them and how much they plan to spend.

Each report will tackle the questions of which products moms plan to buy this year, where they plan to buy them and how much they plan to spend. The data also explores specific product features that entice moms to pay more, as well as where moms look for information to decorate and furnish their children's rooms. This consumer research is sponsored by Sunshine Kids.
We know that the research we provide within the pages of Kids Today is one our most valuable assets. As such, we continue to seek out new ways to build partnerships and mine information that you can put to work to grow your businesses.
     How are we doing?
