Oeuf expands international market

Adds more than 50 stores from England to China

Kids Today Staff -- Kids Today, 8/30/2010 4:15:12 AM

NEW YORK - Modern design company, Oeuf has expanded its international presence with a new strategy that has added global customers from the shores of England all the way to the Great Wall of China.
At the core of Oeuf's expansion is the addition of prestigious retailers to its roster of international clients. In France there's Bonton, a luxurious, super-chic emporium in Paris; concept stores Merci and Serendipity; and the trendsetting online retailers Little Fashion Gallery and Smallable. Add to that a plethora of specialty stores all over Europe, like Ras-selfisch in Germany, Kayo in Belgium, Herr and Frau Klein in Austria, Nobodinoz in Spain, and Couverture in England. Reaching even further there is Mamakaii in Mexico, Baby Baby in Japan, Modernbaby in Hong Kong and Blue Elephant in Venezuela.
At the same time, Oeuf is reinforcing its commitment to the area by establishing its own office and manufacturing facilities in Latvia, where its furniture collection has been produced for the past eight years. Latvia is a country with a strong history and tradition in woodworking as well as internationally-recognized high standards of environmental responsibility and sustainability - making it the perfect partner for Oeuf with its singular focus on high quality and dedication to eco-friendly practices.
"We are thrilled that our expansion strategy has been so successful," said Sophie Demenge, cofounder and designer of Oeuf. "We have made a commitment to the area and plan to continue expanding our list of retail partners. We're excited to continue to bring our simple, modern design to customers one country at a time."
Oeuf, as one of the pioneers of eco-friendly modern nursery design, continues to manufacture its products in countries with a tradition of high quality and craftsmanship: Latvia for its furniture collections and Bolivia for its Clothier line.
