Earl Wang named president of Samson International

Wang has served as president of Legacy Classic Kids since 2011

Samson Holding Company, the parent of Universal, Legacy Classic and Craftmaster, has promoted Earl Wang to president of Samson International, a division that offers a range of residential furniture products designed for the mass-merchant channel.

Wang replaces Frank Norton who has left the company to pursue other business interests.

As president of Legacy Classic Kids since 2011, Wang also has had prior experience with Samson International.

Don Essenberg, president of Legacy Classic Furniture, will absorb the duties of Legacy Classic Kids, and has been appointed president and CEO of Legacy Classic Furniture and Legacy Classic Kids.

“Don has extensive youth experience that will continue to elevate the Legacy Classic Kids line,” said Samuel Kuo, chairman of Samson Holding. “Earl’s leadership skills and prior experience working with Samson International provides a foundation and understanding of this market making him very qualified for this new position.”
