Amity Home brings youth collection to Las Vegas Market

LAS VEGAS – Top of bed resource Amity Home has an extensive introduction of youth products planned for the July 30-Aug. 3 market including a variety of nursery and twin bed quilts.
The Caprice nursery set is made of pre-washed Linen and is available in Petal Pink, Ivory, and Seaglass. The quilt features classic diamond stitching and 10-inch ruffles along the edge. The Caprice toddler quilt retails for $244. Coordinating crib skirts, bumpers, and toddler pillows are available in matching colors.
The Kendall quilt, which is a boy’s cotton patchwork quilt with plaids, stripes and solids in tones of blue, ivory and natural. It retails at $349 in a twin size of 70 inches wide by 90 inches long.
The Amanda quilt is designed for girls, featuring a cotton patchwork pattern of pink, coral, turquoise and navy tones. It retails around $269.
The Rene is a cotton patchwork quilt with a modern chevron pattern and featuring floral themed fabrics in aqua, pink, purple and yellow hues. It retails at $329.
The Elsie quilt features light pink, lilac and aqua hues and feature white ruching and ruffles. It, too, retails at $329.
The Finley quilt features swirl embroidery and accent stitching and is available in Dove Gray and Petal Pink fabrics, coordinating with the Fiona bedspread. It retails at $269.
The quilts also come in full/queen sizes of 90 inches by 95 inches.
New nursery items include the Caprice quilt, which is made with pre-washed linen and is available in Petal Pink, Ivory and Seaglass fabric colors. The new Marius nursery set includes a toddler quilt in a linen cotton blend with a double-stitched diamond quilted front and a blue and striped pattern on the reverse side. It retails at about $189. Coordinating crib skirts, bumpers and toddler pillows are also available in matching colors.
The company is also showing its “Amity Essentials” window panels, which come in four styles and are available in 10 colors to coordinate with various bedding collections. Each panel is 96 inches long with a 3-inch rod pocket. These retail from $179 to $459.
Although the company is known among some customers for its adult line, the youth launch is actually not atypical for a market. However, the company is doing more to get the word out about the line, noted Nicole Porter, who handles marketing for Amity Home.
“We like to be a one-stop shop,” she said, noting that many groups within the line can be purchased for coordinating looks. “If a customer comes in looking for a product, they can find anything for their home.”
