TC Home unveils 4th paper laminate bedroom group

HIGH POINT – Malaysia case goods and youth furniture manufacturer TC Home touted the capabilities of its new paper laminate bedroom factory with a new bedroom that debuted at the October High Point Market.

This brings its number of inline paper laminate groups to four. These sets retail from $799 to $1,199, representing opening price points for the company’s bedroom line.

The company also showed three other new wood groups in a mix of contemporary, transitional and industrial/rustic styles. Made with solid rubberwood, these sets retail from $999 to $1,799 for a bed, dresser, mirror and nightstand.

The company also showed a number of inline dining sets, also made with rubberwood solids.

While market attendance was somewhat slow in the wood category, the company sees value in showing at High Point. It debuted here in October 2015, making this its fifth market in High Point.

I'm Tom Russell and have worked at Furniture/Today since August 2003. Since then, I have covered the international side of the business from a logistics and sourcing standpoint. Since then, I also have visited several furniture trade shows and manufacturing plants in Asia, which has helped me gain perspective about the industry in that part of the world. As I continue covering the import side of the business, I look forward to building on that knowledge base through conversations with industry officials and future overseas plant tours. From time to time, I will file news and other industry perspectives online and, as always, welcome your response to these Web postings.
