The 5,100-square-foot space is seven times larger than the company's former showroom and includes the Protect-A-Bed Experience, which gives buyers hands-on demonstrations of the line's benefits and features.

"Our customers can experience how Protect-A-Bed products address sleep concerns, which will help them better understand why our products are essential items to carry," said James Bell, CEO. "Our merchandising display units and interactive racks will also be on display to show customers how they can use these successful selling tools at their retail locations."

Protect-A-Bed is also taking part in another big event this week, the summer Olympic Games taking place in London. The company, which launched its line in the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe four years ago, is running an advertising campaign in London's underground Tube system.

The ads, which have been placed in more than 2,000 train cars, discuss Protect-A-Bed's healthy sleep zone solutions and features a map showing the 35 countries in which the company has expanded. The ad also includes a QR code that directs viewers to a TV commercial that highlights products features and benefits.

Protect-A-Bed says that an estimated 8 million people - about 80% of London visitors - are expected to use the Docklands Light Railway, a placement spot for the ads. The campaign is running for four weeks.

Bell said the campaign presented a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to reach consumers and support Protect-A-Bed's trading partners during a high-profile event.

"It's an incredible time to be in London, and to think that our ad is featured there is just amazing," Bell said.
