Actress Denise Richards new face for The Original Baby

Actress Denise Richards, the mother of three, has been named the new face for The Original Baby, maker of the Ba bottle accessory.

The Ba is a round holder that is compatible with most brands of baby bottles and allows baby to grasp and hold the bottle themselves as early as three months old, the company said.

Richards said she first saw the Ba about a year ago when she adopted her daughter Eloise.

"I couldn't help but be drawn to the design," Richards said. "It was this color-popping, cool and easy-to-grip addition to Eloise's standard bottle that made it fun for her and easy for me because she is in control as a baby."

The Original Baby was founded in 2011 by four dads from Portland, Ore. The company is planning to expand its product line with additional feeding products, including utensils, pacifiers and bottles.

The Ba retails for $14.99.
