Clek teams up with tokidoki for new car seat collection

Car seat manufacturer Clek is teaming up with Los Angeles-based fashion and lifestyle brand tokidoki. Clek will create a series ofone-of-a-kind prints influenced by tokidoki's larger-than-life designs and characters. The tokidoki for Clek collaboration will include new color ways for the Clek Olli, Clek Oobr and Clek Foonf child passenger safety seats.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, tokidoki was founded in 2003 by designer Simone Legno and his partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. With a line of apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories and more, tokidoki features larger-than-life characters and designs. The brand's cult status has fueled high-profile collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, LeSportsac, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel, New Era, Hello Kitty, Fujitsu, Levi's, Smashbox cosmetics, Sephora, Xbox, T-mobile, Fornarina,Mattel, Skullcandy and Medicom Toy.
"The tokidoki for Clek partnership was a natural way to expand upon our design DNA," explained Clek President Chris Lumley. "Tokidoki's commitment to innovative design matched our own, while their worldwide following and cult status among young parents made this a natural fit."

Tokidoki for Clek will be tailored in Crypton Super Fabrics which have a moisture barrier, are stain resistant, eliminate odor-causing bacteria and are GreenGuard Select certified. The new line will debut for the 2013 Spring/Summer season.
