After an absence of about five years in youth bedroom, Lifestyle is making a splash as it re-enters the category with a rollout of six collections at the company's Las Vegas Forbidden City Furniture Show, which took place this past weekend.(See video at bottom of page.)

The six collections make up the new Wekidz line, and each collection will include complete five-piece bedrooms as well as desks, trundles and bunk beds, said Simon Siow, COO of Lifestyle.
"We do not create big collections, as we want to focus on the value of the product where retailers would use it to promote the youth collections," said Siow.
Bunk beds in the Wekidz line will retail from $299 to $499, and bed/dresser/mirror combinations will retail from $399 to $599.
Siow said the company, which specializes in container business, left the youth category because it did not have a source it was comfortable with, but that they are now confident they have the right source.
Lifestyle's second Las Vegas Forbidden City Furniture Show covered 13,000 square feet in the Riviera Hotel.
Last year, about 500 invited retailers attended the Forbidden City Furniture Show, and Lifestyle CEO James Riddle said he wouldn't be surprised to see that number double for 2013.
