J.P. W.O.M.E.N. held a tea at the JPMA Summit
The new women's networking group, J.P. W.O.M.E.N., or Juvenile Products Women Offering Mentoring, Education, and Networking, hosted its first informal meeting at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers' Assn. Summit in Washington D.C. on February 4.
The event was a meet-and-greet tea that brought together about 30 female leaders in the juvenile products arena, and included discussion of the group's role in the industry and a brainstorming session.
The event was sponsored by J.P.M.A., and Assistant Executive Director Lauren M. Pfeiffer helped coordinate and facilitate the tea.
"J.P.M.A. was pleased to see so many women attending the kickoff event for our new group the J.P. W.O.M.E.N.," said Pfeiffer. "The group brainstormed many ideas, and the buzz following the event was exciting. We are looking forward to future events and engaging with even more women in the industry."
J.P. W.O.M.E.N. plans to host additional events at the ABC Spring Show in May and the ABC Expo in October.
We would love your feedback!
