Trend Lab to create gift sets based on 'amazing baby'

Burnsville, Minn. — Trend Lab, maker of children's room décor and gift sets, has signed a deal to produce a line of baby gift products based on the "amazing baby" book series.
The agreement, signed with Templar Publishing and RJM Licensing, allows Trend Lab to use the brand name, text and artwork on products such as bibs, receiving blankets, towels, and other layette items and decorative room accents. Retail prices on the gift sets are between $30 and $50, and they will include an "amazing baby" book.
The collection debuted at the ABC Expo last month and will be at several upcoming baby and gift shows, including the Juvenile Product Manufacturers' Assn. show in May. The line is set to launch this fall and will be sold in gift and specialty shops.
"We felt the color use and mix of patterns is exciting," said Trend Lab President Donnelle Sampson of the amazing baby property. "When we first reviewed the books, we knew it would be a perfect fit for a new baby gift, and the overall look and feel of the property is very much reflective of today's market."
The "amazing baby" book series was created for children ages 3 to 24 months old and is designed to stimulate and encourages their motor skills and development.
