Aurora World has new home

Pico Rivera, Calif. — Aurora World, a manufacturer and supplier of plush toys and gifts, has moved its corporate headquarters here. The new building is 186,500 square feet — twice the size of the previous building in Compton.
"We now have some breathing room and look forward to future growth," said K.S. Hong, chief operating officer. "At a time when the gift industry is in a financial slump, Aurora is blazing trails with new products and increased production."
The two-story building has 28 shipping and receiving bays and a showroom that features jungle themes. Aurora re-launched its Web site to coincide with the move.
Pico Rivera is about 10 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
