High Point offers new take on classics

By Staff -- Kids Today, 10/1/2004

The fall International Home Furnishings Market brings together the old and new in youth selections. For example, the classic white bedroom is still available for girls, but they can also find feminine choices in different wood finishes, like Lea's Miss Claire collection. Storage options are getting more versatile, with manufacturers like P.J. Kids addressing that need with a new line designed to be mixed and matched to fit different configurations. And teen looks continue to be important, with contemporary groups aimed at older kids showing up in introductions from Young America and Palliser. For themed room scenes, a wide choice of accessories is available at market — everything from lamps to bedding to wall art to rugs — designed to pull a look together.
