ABC Expo offers something for every consumer

Buyers attending the third annual All Baby and Child Expo in Las Vegas last month needed track shoes to get around the massive convention hall housing more than 700 exhibitors. But those who were able to move quickly and efficiently were in luck. The show was the largest to date as new manufacturers made their debut and the product assortment continued to expand. These are just a few of the products we spotted as we made our rounds.
Big Belly Banks introduced its 3-foot-tall wooden dinosaur bank at the show.
Ukid's Scandinavian Bride set includes a table with a vivid floral design and four little chairs with a gingham pattern on the seats. The set retails for $199.
Tiny Love's Gymini Deluxe Total Playground is designed to keep babies busy. The mat features five hanging toys, a mirror and music. The retail price is $69.95.
The Pleko Lite umbrella stroller is new from Peg Perego and offered in a popular rose and black color combination. It retails for $229.
General Product International has filed patents for its foldable laundry hampers designed to look like a frog, pig, dog and this elephant. They retail for $9.
The new Baby KK line by Woogies is moderately priced from $170 to $230. Wailei is a fun Hawaiian set in fuchsia and orange florals and stripes, with a grass bed skirt.
This Powertwin Dual Traveller by Jane USA can be used as a jog stroller with a pivoting front wheel, or as a conventional stroller with the wheel locked in place. It features a hand brake and can fold to fit into a trunk. It retails for $540.
Brandee Danielle's Babette bedding features a frog princess theme that is joined by white chenille and dragonflies on a light green background to create a whimsical set. The retail price point is $300.
The Enchanted Castle bed is hand-painted on all four sides, creating a contained play area. From Enchanted Childhood, the bed retails for about $3,600. Three other designs are available, and the manufacturer also customizes.
This sharp computer desk, debuted in high-gloss powder-coated medium density fiberboard, was among the colorful introductions from the Home Star Division of Office Star.
Hoohobbers' funky new geometric print is available in Cocoa blue or Cocoa pink. A four-piece set of the duvet-style bedding retails for $380.
Love is in the Air, by Nava's Designs, is a four-piece handmade cradle set with quilt, made of organza with rosebuds, retailing for $1,100. It has a matching toy bag, pillows, and wooden crown that easily installs on the wall.
Simplicity's Manhattan bassinet features a yellow and black-and-white check pattern with red accents. A high chair, play yard and bouncer round out the collection.
Bebe Chic's eight new bedding sets includes Bam Bam for boys, retailing at $520. It's matching set for girls, of course, is called Pebbles.
The Natalie trundle bed features hand-painted swirls and stripes in tween-friendly hues. From Petit Provencal, the bed retails for $1,490.
GoBaby has launched its Definitions line, which includes this onesie. It lists several definitions of defiance including "one's rebellion against eating lima beans." The onesies retail for $20–22.
The Melissa collection from Child Craft features floral carvings and acrylic, antique-style pulls on the cases. The convertible crib, shown here in cherry, retails for $699. The group is also available in white.
KidKraft showed brand new outdoor furniture for children, including this pint-size Adirondack set, consisting of a chair and bench with cushions, a table and an ottoman.
The Infinity collection from Baby's Dream is now available in an ebony finish with chestnut tops for those who don't want all-black furniture.
Bonavita's Cabana collection was the hit of the manufacturer's market. The group includes a standard crib that retails for $399 and a dresser/changing table that retails for $699. The collection is shown in Antiqua white.
Baby Doll's Prima Donna bassinet linens are made of 100% dupioni silk. The three-piece set retails for $400, and is available in pink, white and blue.
BananaFish is moving toward more contemporary looks, such as the Cloud 9 bedding set, which features a fashion-forward plaid crib skirt paired with solid blue and green.
Zambaiti USA introduced its new licensed Anne Geddes bedding collections, Woodland Fairies and Baby Bunnies. Made in Italy, the quilt set retails at $250 and is packaged in a reusable storage box.
This ultrasound frame is part of a new giftware line carried by Small Fry Designs. It retails for $9.
Beach Bettyz debuted its Motocross bedding, retailing for $175, with Camelot Furniture's Avalon wall System, retailing for $999.
The Snuggly Buggly hooded blanket is designed to keep baby warm while she's being whisked around town. From Bubunja Baby, it retails for $220.
Atlantic Furniture showed its Columbia twin-over-full bed in white.
Modern bedding manufacturer Gustav Maxwell is now making a line of bedding that fits Stokke's mini bassinet. The set, which is composed of two fitted sheets and a bumper that uses Velcro fastners instead of ties, retails for $159.
Westwood Design unveiled the Cypress Point collection. The line is all pine, has swing-out drawers and offers height-adjustable bun feet.
CoCaLo's Monkey Business collection captures happy moments in a primate's life. A four-piece set retails for $189.
The Nap 'N Pack by Leachco is a 4-in-1 travel bed, offering a play mat, travel napper, waterproof changing station and storage bag. The suggested retail price is $72.
Gear manufacturers Compass and Inglesina partnered to create a travel system that debuted at the show. An attachment mechanism allows Compass' I400 carseat to snap into Inglesina's Zippy stroller. The items are sold separately, but will be offered in coordinating colors. The carseat retails for $169.99, and the stroller is $339.99.
Lambs & Ivy showed its Rhyme Tyme collection, a sweet, gender-neutral line starring well-loved nursery rhyme characters. The crib set retails for $199.
Alta Baby showed a host of new cribs including Iris, pictured here. The coordinating bedding set is dubbed Honey Suede.
Vintage was a popular theme at the show, and Sweetpea of California showcased its own version with Curly Top. The crib retails for $970, and the French armoire is $1,280.
