Toy Play introducing new licensed products

New York— Toy Play, a division of consumer products company The Betesh Group, plans to show an assortment of soft furniture, room décor and arts and crafts products featuring its new licenses at the fall toy show this month.
In conjunction with sister division Funhouse Consumer Products, Toy Play is introducing furniture lines featuring Groovy Girls and Superman. The Groovy Girls collection includes an inflatable chair and ottoman, beanbag chair, cardboard table and chairs,lamps, rugs, frames and more.Retail prices range from $7.99 to $29.99, and the line is scheduled to ship in July.
The Superman collection will arrive in stores in April and includes an inflatable slumber bed, deluxe inflatable bed, toddler convertible bed lounger, pop-up bed and play tent, inflatable slumber tents and room-décor products. Retail price points start at about $9.99 and top out at $34.99.
Two other new licenses, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and So Girly, will appear on various arts and crafts/activity items. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is based on a TV series that follows the adventures of a real Japanese rock band. The line includes scrapbook kits, art stations and make-your-own products. Retail prices are between $4.99 and $19.99. So Girly, an ode to girl power, features products designed for preteens such as body art, hair clips, journals and treasure boxes. Retail prices range from $4.99 to $14.99.
Toy Play also will introduce several new and updated toys featuring current licensed properties Maya & Miguel and Xiaolin Showdown including plush, accessories, vehicles and role-play toys. Retail prices range between $4.99 and $24.99, and products will be in stores this fall.
In addition, Toy Play is launching its own brand of soft furniture targeting tweens and teens. The contemporary lines, O-Zone and Diva, include inflatable furniture such as lounge chairs, sofas, ottomans and more.
Groovy Girls is a new license for Toy Play.
