Gonzales, La.— Crown Crafts has entered into an agreement with Kelly B. Rightsell Designs for the licensing of new luxury infant products.
The new relationship will enable Crown Crafts to produce, market and sell infant and juvenile home furnishings and accessories under the Kelly Rightsell brand name.
Crown Crafts Infant Products will develop infant and juvenile bedding, blankets and room décor for the brand, while Hamco will develop bibs and bath products. The crib sets will have suggested retail prices starting at $450, while bibs will be $16 and burp pads will be $18. The products were introduced during the ABC Expo in Las Vegas last month.
"We are especially excited about this new relationship because it opens the door for Kelly to create a wide array of new products," said Brian Rightsell, president of Kelly B. Rightsell Designs.
And Crown Crafts is just as thrilled.
"This new license arrangement gives us a branded presence in the luxury market," said Nanci Freeman, president and CEO of Crown Crafts Infant Products. "With the addition of these beautiful classic designs from Kelly Rightsell, we will be able to expand our product offering to the juvenile specialty market."
Through the partnership, Kelly B. Rightsell Designs will move ahead with more infant bedding, Moses baskets, bibs, burp cloths and blankets, plus introduce new categories like juvenile bedding, window treatments, mobiles, night lights, switch plates, diaper bags and bath items.
Sweet Pea is just one of six styles of bibs and burp pads by Kelly B. Rightsell Designs to be licensed by Hamco.
