Lite Source rebrands juvenile division
Staff -- Kids Today, 11/1/2005
Chino, Calif.— Lighting manufacturer Lite Source has rebranded its juvenile division Lite Source Kids. The division was formerly called Inmon Kids by Lite Source.
Lite Source, based here, bought Inmon Enterprises, of Nixa, Mo., in early 2004, purchasing the manufacturer's product and intellectual property. The deal did not include equipment or real estate. Tim Kolacz, marketing manager for Lite Source, said the new name helps unify all of Lite Source's divisions.
"Bringing the juvenile line under the Lite Source umbrella is a great move for all of our existing and potential customers," Kolacz said. "(The move allows) for those unfamiliar with our juvenile division to know that the Lite Source Kids line will be the best-backed juvenile line in the industry."
In addition to lamps, the kids line includes room-décor items such as bookends, shelves, clocks, mirrors and corkboards.
The juvenile division has its own showrooms at the Dallas gift show and High Point furniture market.
It shares space with Lite Source at the Atlanta gift show and Las Vegas furniture market.
