Scandinavian Child distributing Cariboo pieces
Staff -- Kids Today, 6/1/2005
Raleigh, N.C.— Juvenile products distributor Scandinavian Child is bringing a line of bassinets and changing tables from Cariboo of New Zealand to the U.S. market. The company showed the products at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Assn. show in Orlando last month.
Cariboo offers three models of bassinets and two models of changing tables, all made of Radiata wood from New Zealand forests and with fabric bassinet bags.
The Cariboo Classic bassinet features a look that works in both traditional and more contemporary environments. The Cariboo Gentle Motions bassinet gently rocks back and forth according to baby's own movement, and can be detached from the folding stand and hung from the rails of a crib for a transition between bassinet and crib. The Cariboo Folding bassinet is a portable bassinet.
The Cariboo Classic changing table provides a place to change baby, and can be used as a bookshelf or storage tray as the child grows older. The Cariboo Folding changing table can be folded flat and placed against a wall or under a bed, and it includes a machine-washable zip-off changing surface.
Cariboo products are available in both teak and mahogany stain finishes, and the bassinet bags are removable and machine-washable.
Retail prices for the Cariboo products range from $260 to $360, and products will be shipped for arrival in September.
