Bassett launches kid-size pieces
Jane Kitchen -- Kids Today, 7/1/2005
Orlando, Fla.— Showing for the first time in several years at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Show here in May, Bassettbaby brought a wide range of new products to the juvenile market, including a new collection of child-size furniture.
Part of the Lexington collection, the program features traditionally designed pieces in cherry and buttermilk finishes that would work well with many design sensibilities. The pieces can also be shipped via UPS, an added advantage.
A tall Learning Tower features a chalkboard, dry erase, cork board and shelves and drawers on each of its four sides, and the tower spins so a child can access whichever medium he chooses. The piece will retail for around $300.
Also included in the collection are a toy chest, desk, small bookcase and table and chair set with a bench that includes hidden storage in the middle of the table for things like art supplies, and storage under the bench.
This table, chair and bench from Bassettbaby feature hidden storage.
