New York— Juvenile furniture manufacturer L.C. Creations has signed a deal to produce a line of furniture based on the tween and teen property Apricot Brown. R&R Licensing represents the brand, which is geared toward girls ages 8 to 14.
L.C. Creations plans to produce three collections highlighting different aspects of Apricot Brown, which is described as a hip property that reflects today's multi-ethnic generation.
The Miss Undefinable group will include heart-shaped furniture and accessories and pieces that feature the Apricot Brown logo pattern. Prep-ster mixes sweet patterns such as cupcakes and ice cream cones with edgier designs such as argyle, fishnet and graffiti. Chica Bonita, which translates to "pretty girl" in English, is a feminine group featuring floral prints and rose vines.
Each of the three collections will have between six and eights SKUs, including headboards, computer desks, night stands, dressers, lamps, shelves and roomaccessories. Retail prices will range between $19.99 and $299. L.C. Creations is launching the line at the High Point furniture market in April, with specialty and department stores as the target retailers.
The line will debut at High Point.
