Toy Fair intros designed for teaching, hugging

Retailers sure to find products for all ages, price ranges

The Neurosmith Busy Bee Storyteller comes with three hats: cowboy, fireman and clown. Place a hat on the bee's head and he'll tell a story in that character's voice with music and sound effects. From Small World Toys, the plush bee retails for $24.99.

Kids can use the plush body and attachable parts to create their own animal. From Fanny's Play House, the retail price is $22.

PortaSmart's colorful plastic chair is put together like a puzzle. The chair retails for $49.95, and a set of two chairs and puzzle table retails for $130.

Toy Play's portable art desk is shaped like a guitar and features licensed Puffy Ami Yumi designs. The work station comes with stickers, paper, markers and more and retails for $12.99.

Trevor Bear from Aurora is a throwback to the days of jointed plush. The bear is available in two sizes and retails at $11.99 and $15.99.

Bertle the Singing Turtle introduces babies to color, lights and music. From Thinkativity, the retail price is $14.99.

Delta Enterprise's chair and table set comes with decals that can be reused as kids change the adventures of Dora the Explorer and her pals. The retail price is $49.99.

Haba's Little Friends First play set comes with four tiny characters tucked inside that double as a teething ring, rattle and other activity toys. The set retails for $60.

Douglas Co. is introducing its new Adventure Paks. Each of the five styles comes with two clip-on plush toys and lots of storage in the packs. The retail price is $20.

This trumpet is a new addition to Big Boing's Tub Tunes water instruments. The retail price is $14.99.

Mattel's Furryville line is designed to peak girls' interest in being collectors. Retail prices for the poseable plush animals start at $1.99.

A patent-pending pull-ring animator allows kids to lift and move the trunk of this soft elephant puppet. From Folkmanis, the retail price is $44.

This special ladybug keeps little hands and minds occupied. The toy rattles, crinkles and squeaks and attaches to the crib or stroller. From Mary Meyer, it retails between $14.98 and $17.98.

The McTurqs are a lovable family of pups that just happen to be a shocking shade of turquoise. From Princess Soft Toys, retail prices range between $3 and $20.

Clap with Me Monkey is part of the Lamaze infant developmental line from Learning Curve.

Ty Inc. is introducing a new line of baby animals designed to be loved by infants. Retail prices range between $5 and $15.
