Nurseryworks adds youth lines

Los Angeles— Contemporary infant furniture manufacturer Nurseryworks has launched a new line of youth furniture and bedding for the over-5 crowd. The collection includes a twin bed with optional trundle or underdrawer, two types of storage and bedding.
The twin bed is made of pine and the frames are offered in light and dark finishes. The head and foot boards are offered in six fresh colors, including bright colors, white and neutral, and are available with three optional cut-out patterns: circle, diamond and square. The Nightstand Box fits two drawers with a finger groove into a sleek box shell in dark or light ash finishes. The drawers are available with the same cut-out patterns and colors as the twin bed.
The youth bedding collection is a collaboration between lawson-fenning, the design team behind Nurseryworks' infant collections, and sight-two, an L.A.-based design, graphics and branding studio.
The 100% cotton poplin twin bedding includes fitted and flat sheets, a pillowcase and pillow sham and a duvet cover. The initial launch includes two patterns: Cow Slip in Mulberry, a three-tone print, and Globe Flower in Tisket, a two-tone print.
Nurseryworks debuted the new youth groups at the New York International Gift Fair in January, and will also show at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Assn. trade show in May.
Price points range from $160 for a twin sheet set to $1,095 for a twin bed, with storage drawers or trundles adding $395. The new youth collections will ship May 1.
The twin bed retails for $1,095 plus $395 for the trundle option. The youth collections will start shipping in May.
