Baby's Room hosts grand reopening

Lombard-Ill.-based Baby's Room, a specialty retailer of infant and children's furniture and accessories, had a grand reopening April 1 for its Novi, Mich., store, a franchisee of USA Baby.
Baby's Room expanded, more than doubling its retail space to almost 16,000 square feet. The store has designer room vignettes with a large selection of styles, colors and finishes, and features a ChildSpace section that carries beds, bunk beds and more geared toward older children and teens.
Emery and JoAnn Keathley, owners of the store since 1987, began as independent retailers. They joined the USA Baby franchise system to increase the scope of their product line for both babies and children, which now reaches from crib to college. The Keathleys have four stores in the Detroit area, including Baby's Room stores in Taylor, Clinton Township and Auburn Hills.
"USA Baby is a great place to shop; we carry everything new parents need," Emery Keathley said. "We are a one-stop specialty retail infant and children's furniture store. We chose USA Baby because we wanted to be part of a business that allowed us to participate in some of the happiest times in a young family's life — the birth of their children."
The store is also holding a Once-A-Trimester Sale, which runs until June 4th.
Designer vignettes at newly expanded Baby's Room give shoppers ideas they can use in their own homes.
